FLY HIGH – Air Serbia launches campaign dedicated to women who push boundaries

Some dreams begin in childhood – at the moment when we look up at the sky and wonder what the world above the clouds looks like. In the past, for many girls those dreams seemed far away, because they did not know that they too could become pilots or engineers, but today more and more women are proving that the sky is equally open to everyone who has the courage to reach it.

The national airline Air Serbia is launching the Fly High campaign, which symbolically begins on 8 March, and through which it aims to present the stories of women who push boundaries in their work every day and to bring them closer to the public. Through this initiative, we will be presenting Air Serbia’s female pilots and engineers, who have turned their dreams into reality through dedication, knowledge and perseverance – even when they were told that the path they had chosen was too difficult or not meant for them. The campaign features Sara Golubović, Junior First Officer on the ATR aircraft, Marta Ožegović, Junior First Officer on the Airbus A320 aircraft, Dina Milovanović, First Officer on the Airbus A320 aircraft, Nevena Santrač, Structural Engineer, and Milica Netković, General Manager People and Performance at Air Serbia.

Today, 12 women pilot Air Serbia’s aircraft, while in the company’s hangars and technical sectors female aviation engineers work every day to ensure the fleet’s reliability. With this campaign, Air Serbia wants to emphasise that diversity, equal opportunities and support for professional development are an important part of modern business and the company’s sustainable development, while also inspiring new generations to follow their dreams and believe in themselves.
